Children are playful, curious, and energetic beings so a kid's yoga class is slightly different to an adult yoga class. there is a balance between structure and spotaneity.
This community chlidren's yoga class is taught by Holly, whom some of you may know from practicing with her in the Studio. She is both a primary school teacher, and a kids yoga teacher and is a natural with the young ones.
The children are taught traditional yoga poses in a non-traditional way. For example Uttanasana (or Standing Forward Bend) becomes a jellyfish or a waterfall etc.
